Pics have emerged of Angelina Jolie starring in a new ad campaign for Louis Vuitton. Reportedly wearing no makeup (although smokey eyes and a nude lip can be spotted) and her own clothing, the Hollywood mum of six is casually sitting barefoot on a boat with her own monogrammed Vuitton bag by her side. The shoot, which was photographed by Annie Leibovitz on a lakeside landscape in Cambodia’s Siem Reap province, is part of the brand’s popular ‘Core Values’ campaign.
Jolie has many ties to Cambodia, filming Lara Croft: Tomb Raider in 2000. She also adopted her eldest son Maddox from Cambodia and she and Brad Pitt established the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Foundation, which is active in community development and conservation in the country.
Vuitton’s executive vice president Pietro Beccari told Women’s Wear Daily, “People are not used to seeing Angelina in this situation. I like the fact that it’s a real moment. This travel message we give through personal journeys is a fundamental one for the brand.”
The campaign is expected to run for at least 18 months alongside a few other recent ‘core values’ personalities, including Bono and Sean Connery.
Jolie will donate all proceeds earned from the ad to charity.
